Although the premiums for 2015 on the Federal Exchange for NC have not been released yet (November 15, conveniently AFTER the elections), I did receive my letter from BCBS of NC telling me that the premium for my current individual non ACA compliant policy will increase 10%. This follows last year's increase of 26% on the same high deductible policy.

I do not qualify for subsidies, but I will compare my current coverage with BCBS (which has been an excellent experience except for the premium costs) with what ends up being offered on the 2015 Exchange.

Coventry was offered last year in Wake and Durham counties, and will be offered again. I'm interested in hearing the experiences of people who had coverage through them in 2014. As I don't want this thread to drift into a debate, please try to keep it on topic, with comments limited to those who have had coverage with Coventry, have friends/family with Coventry,, or work in the medical field and have comments about Coventry.

Hi,

I stumble on this site and signed up right away after a quick run on threads about health insurance.

Here's my dilemma. I just moved here, recently got married, and have never tried any of the health insurances available.
My husband and I are looking at Coventry on Healthcare Marketplace to help us with the finances (at least that's how it was explained to me - Premium Tax Credit)

I just need to know your opinion of Coventry? Or do you anyone who signed up with Coventry. I only have until the 15th of January and we were about to sign up but I saw some negative feedback.

Please help...
