I bought it before at Harris Teeter its in a glass bottle which I love. It might be labeled real milk produced by Hunter Farms. However if you go this route check the larger HT as it not available in all stores. If not in your neighborhood HT you can call around to different ones or try places like Whole Foods, Earth Fare etc.
I'd check the farmer's market. I know what you're talking about and I think you will have to contact the farmer directly. Ask the cheese producers and they might be able to point you in the right direction. I don't know anybody myself, but I know of people who have gotten it in the area. Seems like I recall someone was bringing it up from SC, too. Sorry I don't have more details.
SC, where it's legal. Don't get local farmers in trouble. Your post asking for it for your pets means you know it's illegal to sell it for human consumption here.
Sure.....everyone believes that. That little scam/lie to break the food safety rules ( that are there for a reason) is well known and no one buys it any longer.
Why do people jump to conclusions? She asked a question and a couple of you are assuming she has bad intentions. If you can't answer the question why bother replying? You wont catch me drinking it, but it doesn't matter to me what she does with it. It's not like she asked where to buy meth or a stolen baby. Sheesh.....
OP: Try a local farmer and buy directly from them. Or make the drive to SC where it's legal.

It is a controversial subject, one right up there with vaccinations on the safe/not safe argument among those who have a strong opinion about it. No one really believes that anyone specifically needs it for a pet, anymore than the funky glass pipes sold in seedy gas stations are for tobacco, despite what the sign says. If you get an organic granola type and an MPH going back and forth with each other, pull up a chair and some popcorn.
I also remember a thread in the Coastal forum where a man with many kids made runs to South Carolina and froze the gallons at home. He would not reveal his source but others suggested trying the Myrtle Beach farmer's market.
