Hello,

We're a family of four. I homeschool two 11 year old boys.

We love libraries, pools (for fun not competition), dog parks, parks in general, SkyZone.

We shop a lot at Costco and Trader Joe's.

We just moved out of state we love for a southern state that is just too trafficy. I'm hoping to find a community that doesn't require a thirty min. drive every day. (Geez.)

Could you suggest a neighborhood or suburb that would keep my husband's commute to 20 mins.?

We don't love cookie cutter houses, but funnily enough, are in one right now. (Boys love it, we're ho-hum about it.)

Thanks for any help!

Alley

I'm confused. Where do live now? Your husband is working/will be working at UNC Healthcare in Chapel Hill? Are you moving to NC from another state or are you already somewhere in the triangle area?

Saying that your husband works/will work for UNC Healthcare is not very specific. UNC Healthcare has hospitals and clinics in Chapel Hill, Durham, Wake County, Johnston County, Nash County, Chatham County, High Point, Hendersonville, Lenoir, and probably a few more.

This is what I was going to say. If her husband is working at UNC Hospital it would be a no-brainer to say live in Chapel Hill/ Orange County. But if he's working at UNC Healthcare at Rex in Raleigh or out in Lenoir.....nope

Yes, if he works in CH, live there and use the free bus service.

Parking at UNC-CH is outrageously expensive.
