Ugh....
And we just finished construction on an addition to our house and our cans are filled to the rim.

The dumps (convenience centers) are open if you are really packed up and need to get rid of stuff.

It seems odd that the city would cancel trash collection all together when the US mail and parcel package deliveries are still providing daily service. In addition, with the new robotic arm collection trucks the driver rarely has to be working outside the heated vehicle. Maybe the union waste collection employees won't work below a certain temperature.

Haha! Or maybe they don't have chains that will work on those really heavy trucks? My mailman used chains the past 2 days.

Ha ha - not only did they pick up our garbage on Wednesday, but the robotic arm couldn't get the can back down into the snow bank without it tipping over so the guy got out of his truck and made sure it was standing up.
