I am looking for public racquetball courts in the Chapel Hill area. I would love to find free or pay per use, but would pay a membership fee. I just hate to pay a full facilities fee when all I need are racquetball courts. I know UNC has tons of courts, but I am not a student and I don't know if a way to pay just an activity fee without being a student.

Love suggestions.

You could try the Triangle YMCA site and look for the closest one with a raquetball court.

There was also these threads:

The Y in Chapel Hill has 2 racquetball courts; they are by reservation.

You probably have to belong to the Y though, which he (?) is trying to avoid.

OP, I don't know if there's any way you could just take a night class at UNC and then get use of the facilities on campus...I understand the "lifelong learning" thing is something colleges are pushing now, so I doubt it would cost what a degree class would (but it also might not come with facility privileges).
