Hi. We are closing on a home north of 98 and near Creedmoor Rd this month. There is no neighborhood pool. I checked into Hasentree and they are not taking nonresident memberships anymore. I don't think Ethans Glen allows nonresidents to join the pool there either. Are there any other pools nearby that you know allow non-residents?
Thank you!

Lots of folks like Seven Oaks, which is off Creedmoor Rd. south of Strickland. You could also join the YMCA and use their pools, plus get access to other facilities. It is cheaper and does not require an initiation fee, but it tends to be more crowded.

your Realtor will be happy to find out definitively whether Ethan's Glen or any other spot within 10 miles of your home are accepting non-resident members.

I do have clients that are thrilled with 7 Oaks.

Greystone Pool & Racquet Club used to allow non-members, not sure if they do now or not?

The new Athletic Club on Falls of the Neuse allows you to become a member to use their pools.

Greystone allows non-members and has a much cheaper initiation fee than Seven Oaks.

I spent sooooo many summers with my kids at Greystone! Loved it! It has a smaller "family" feel to me than Seven Oaks.

some of my friends did leave Greystone for Seven Oaks since they added a couple of pools and had a grill! We had to be happy with the snack bar at Greystone unless it was a special occasion and we had a cook-out!

Greystone still has a family feel, we really enjoy it. There are two grills there now and a new slide, it's not as large as Seven Oaks', but it's fun. I like the fact that there's only one pool, it's easier to keep track of my kids!
