Appreciate any recommendations on a golf instructor. I am a novice and looking to improve my game. I would prefer someplace that I did not feel "on display" during instruction. Also please include why you like the instructor.

Thanks!

Josh Miller @Chapel Ridge would be good. I wouldn't sweat the on display feeling. Golfers are very self-absorbed and really won't take notice. But if you really are concerned he has an indoor bay that to get you comfortable until you're ready to go outside.

Josh is a young pro that is easy to feel comfortable around.

Dona Lerner or Kathy Bounds at Brier Creek. I live on the other side of wake county and I drive the 35 minutes for myself and my kid

Jimmy Hamilton or Greg Grexsa at Wildwood Green. Easy to understand and very patient. I get instruction from Greg and my wife from Jimmy. Instruction is on the back side of Wildwood's driving range so not on display.

Are golf lessons open to the public at Brier Creek CC? I live close to there, but figured they were not available.

Knight's Play off of Ten Ten. It's a par three course with a full size feel. Also, it has lights. Talk to Kevin (the pro).
