I see the old shell of Taco Bell (pun intended) and Ragazzis (ex-Golden Corral) were finally torn down in front of Cary Towne Center mall.....any idea if/what something will replace them? Or is it just urban renewal? Either way is good with me....those should have come down years ago. I'm old enough to remember eating in both places when they were nice and new. I'm a newbie to this forum so be nice....

Hello, newbie.
I agree that they needed to come down. I also recall eating at them when they were new. They were rather sad and dreary-looking here lately.
Did they also tear down that other building that use to be the optometrist?

I heard that a year ago maybe as well. Also said that Firestone would move to the old HT location as part of all this once the new one opens but honestly that seems less likely but who knows.
I never ate at Ragazzis or Taco Bell there, but spent a fair amount of time in the DQ not that far away.
There is no drugstore on any of those corners over there. I think they should put one in. Can't have too many, ya know?
