You can't make every single person 100% satisfied - people just don't get that.
If there were multiple kids in the school with the same issue, I'd understand maybe an exception to the rules. But to ask for a rule change over a very specific thing that is affecting only her child at this time, is not reasonable. I'm sure there are other children in the school with specialized disabilities that also have to make sacrifices.
I get wanting the absolute best for your kids - I really do. But sometimes you have to put in the work and not rely on someone else. People think they're special and deserve everything these days. Thanks social media.
