Rosati's. Not sure if Cary or Morrisville.

EDIT: It's in Morrisville, on Davis Drive.

Hate to say it but the Triangle isn't the first place on earth with transplants. You're just late to the party.
People only move to Boston 'cause they have to, not because they want to.

Rosati's is very good for their deep dish pies but try not to stray too far off that path, the rest of their menu isn't noteworthy.

Oh, and leave plenty of time for your meal, it typically has taken about 25 minutes from ordering to receiving our food.

I'll have to check it out. Looks great on Yelp. I like deep dish. Typically though, deep dish does take longer to make.

Randy's can be inconsistent. Sometimes the crust is great, but other times it can be thick and too tough like cardboard.

There was this place called Camo Brother's Pizza that I like, they are in N. Raleigh and are called Peri Brother's Pizza.

Amante's in Cary is pretty good, but can be greasy. The Original NY Pizza in Cary can also be good.

Wow, tough crowd. Slice of NY in Brier Creek makes excellent pizza, authentic NY fare for sure. While they tend to feature their crust a bit (can be a little doughy at times), their ingredients are always fresh and their counter pies abundant. Plus, the Rio Rancho pie is one of my all time favorites.

I never understood the discussion about lack of good pizza here. But I live near a Randy's in Durham (well, most people in Durham live near a Randy's).

Is it more of a great memory of 'back home' and having pizza with your friends at the local pizza place than the pizza itself?

ACME pizza in Holly Springs. I'm told it's legit.
