Where we lived previously, we were able to donate furniture and the companies were able to pick them up from the house. Are there charities or donation companies that do this in the Triangle? Can can pick them up from our house? Would rather not junk some of this furniture - it is very useful stuff.

A great organization. They will pick up your donations. We've used them several times.

the Green Chair project is great, but it is not free pickup - if that matters to your decision.
