I'm considering have some relatively minor foot surgery and saw a doctor at Raleigh Orthopedic recently. There's been a couple of sort of negative posts here about Raleigh Ortho but I'm wondering if anyone has more feedback. PM me directly if you want to discuss specific doctors.
Oh, and because I have UHC the surgery has to take place at Rex instead of at Raleigh Ortho's surgery center. That seems strange. I have a high deductible health care plan so I feel pretty confident that I'll hit my $2K deductible pretty quickly regardless of where I go ($3K max out of pocket).
I've never had surgery before and I'm feeling a little lost!
