I am planning to replace the old wooden balusters with iron balusters. Does anyone know of a store with a decent selection of balusters in stock? Home Depot and Lowes have very limited selection and I do not want to buy off the net due to concerns with quality/look/shipping weight....

You might try Cast Iron Elegance in south Raleigh, but I am not sure whether they just do custom work, or whether they have things in stock. The custom work is beautiful.

Another option is Raleigh Wrought Iron which has a show-room to visit: http://www.raleighwroughtironandfenc...r-options.html To give an idea of prices, they also have some stock balusters here: http://raleighwroughtiron.com/produc...pickets/page/2
