I'm doing my part for the local economy and considering buying a new mattress at the Original Mattress Factory. My understanding is that the store here in Raleigh builds the box springs and mattresses right here in town. I've searched a few older threads and it would appear they have a good track record. However since this is a big purchase for me I thought I would check in and see if anybody has any more recent feedback on the quality of the mattresses they sell. Thanks for the insight.

I think they are of great quality. we bought our first one from them over 6 years ago and its still very good. Bought a couple of sets again for the kids a year ago and one set from an online retailer for the guest room and I can see a lot of difference. I would recommend Original Mattress factory in a heartbeat.

We and our family have used them many times.

They are honest, unlike the heavy advertisers.

See their website. All prices are plainly stated.

Sets are built in the back of the Spring Forest Rd store. You can watch.

Definitely stop there.

We bought our new mattress from the OMF based on the reviews we saw. It's been 8 months so far and we have no complaints whatsoever. I would definitely recommend that you go there. Good luck.

I did not have such good luck with the bed. Service was great however after two years the bed showed signs of sagging(i weigh 185). Maybe it was because it was a cheap $450 queen mattressfactory brand? I decided to get a whotel bed with a coupon I found on the web 40% off and free shipping. (still around if you search)
Hotel quality for around 760. W HOTELS - THE STORE
Comes with 10 yr warranty!

I echo all the other comments. We bought our mattress from them last January and haven't had a complaint yet. They offer great prices, aren't pushy, and had quick delivery. I would buy from them again as opposed to any of the larger, national companies.

I absolutely do recommend them.

I always thought a custom made bed would be way out of my price range hence never approached them until recently. They aren't any more expensive than a similar quality mattress with a "fancy name" behind it. Really good product.
