...the ad sticker plastered directly over Donald Trump's face?
LMAO!

It could not be an accident.
Yes, the N&O leans left. Forget the politics and embrace the adolescent glee behind the prank....
Oh, I am sure there was some heavy-duty snickering among the elves in the "Sticker Application Department."

Maybe they worked in the Clinton White House that stole all the "W"s off west wing keyboards in 2001

I'm just curious if it was a conscious prank with beer and guffaws; if there were only a few, or if there were thousands.
A friend in Holly Springs says her sticker was at the top.

Wondering if I have a limited edition family heirloom, a la my mother's 1976 Playboy (which she bought for the articles) with the Jimmy Carter interview, wherein he confessed to "lust in his heart."
Or a real treasure, like the Jenny stamp....

I remember they have had a few gaffes with these advertising stickers over the years. I can't remember them specifically, but the placement does vary and they have covered up some things you wouldn't think they would and even covere part of words so an eeeeviillllll four letter word was all that was left.

Just goes to show, they should get rid of those annoying stickers altogether!

Though I would have laughed at what Mike described. Will have to ask when I got home, how ours was. I would presume they are put on by machine.

What's even more hysterical is the News and Observer's steadfast journey down the drain. I suppose that these guys should have their fun while they still can. Maybe that's what they were thinking . . .

I'd imagine that stickering newspapers is a boring job, but way to jab at the local paper since it doesn't align with your worldview.

I would hope they have a machine that does the stickering.
