The train tracks are on the other side of Carpenter Upchurch. Maybe a few houses in the front of the neighborhood can hear them but there is no crossing there. It is a freight line that passes rather infrequently and slowly.

I know someone in Heritage Pines, they live a couple of blocks from the entrance and am at the house often. I have never heard the train. You do get some airplane noise there. If you are considering the neighborhood, visit and decide if that is a deal breaker for you.

Some houses in the neighborhood back to a wooded stream buffer. This is harder to find in the new construction neighborhoods. Del Web will plant new trees but they tend to clear cut the mature ones, that is a deal breaker for me!
