Oh, okay. Nice! I drive to the one in Parkside Commons Shopping Center at Hwy 55 and 540....and they don't have them. I think I saw them once, but not since.

Really? I've been hearing all these rave reviews about Aldi and even their organic produce options. But that's a no frills store for sure! Bag your own groceries, skeleton employee crew, what's on the shelf may still be in the case box it was shipped in...all supposedly to keep prices low. I'm only 10 minutes from the nearest one; maybe I need to go check it out when I have some spare time.

Inexplicably that HT, while way bigger, is missing stuff that the Stone Creek store has. Maybe the proximity to Publix encourages them to do better.

Do you know that I moved here from Atlanta, and have missed shopping at Publix from the day I arrived. When I heard one was coming to Cary, a friend and I that I knew from Florida (where they also have Publix) were jumping for joy! And to this day, I've not been in there to buy one thing. I can't explain it...

My cousin went to the grand opening. She received a free reusable grocery bag, water bottle, and a $5.00 gift card. She was so excited about her free goodies.

I bet the $5 gift card was just enough to buy 3 ounces of an overpriced deli product? They don't call it whole paycheck for nothing!

It is a pretty impressive store. It's going to do bang up lunch business with the La Farm and the hot bar and stuff, given the proximity to RTP. Loved the beer selection. I've been in the other area Whole Foods, and this one is a step up.

I went yesterday in the afternoon and it was still packed. They had some good deals actually, like salmon was $4.99lb. They also had Florida Stone Crab which I had been looking for, it was so tasty. The hot bar is huge and awesome. The meat area has a large selection of marinated items which was lacking at the other Cary location. Had some brisket we picked up from there for lunch today and its better than anything I've eaten in a restaurant here so far. Very excited about the store.
