Suggestions for 1 bed apt with character under $900 in/close to downtown Ral (Raleigh: hardwood floors)

Looking to move closer to downtown Raleigh for work.
I don't need a lot of space.

Ideally I'm looking for something with character (an older building with hardwood floors is ideal).

I've looked at a few that seem ok (The Raleigh Apartments, etc) but wondering if anybody had any other suggestions.

Hoping to be in the $800-900 range for rent.

I don't mind if it's a studio.

Maybe check Craigslist for something near Cameron Village, but I don’t think there are any big buildings.

This is not that close to downtown Raleigh, but not too far-Laurel Cove Apts in N. Raleigh. My friend rented a small 1 bedroom in the summer for under $745 (not including utilities). Good Luck to you.
