Didn't we have a thread about this already? I thought it was a burger joint and mattress store.

Maybe you're correct. But I don't remember it or I missed it. Tried to search but. . .

New Bern (Craven County) just got a 100K sq. ft. Harris Teeter. Nation's largest H-T.
Wonder how Cary got bypassed? ;-)

That's funny because HT had claimed the new Brier Creek one (also 100K ft) was the largest HT.
Cary got bypassed bc Cary is already oversaturated with all the grocery chains coming in.

...because the HT market in Cary is already saturated and New Bern is well, New Bern.

There's no weird mystery about it.

The HT at Brier Creek isn’t even in the top five largest HTs; It’s only 67,000 square feet. I don’t know why HT would want to claim it as the largest.

Also, a fun fact:

The Development company behind the Wegmans by Cary Towne Center, Columbia Development Group also developed this Harris Teeter.

Why would they? It's not in Cary, it's in Durham.
