Occam's razor will come in handy explaining what's going on over there... The place grew old. Simplest theory is the best.
If their bench is deep, no problem. Fewer and fewer broadcast companies these days even fathom allowing their employees to grow old.

There's also the fact that Jim Goodmon Jr. has taken over from his father recently and may be pressuring them to leave. Or that the employees are unhappy working for him and want to get out first before he fires them. Anyway, WRAL as we know it is changing, and probably not for the better, I'd wager.
