According to the morning TV news, Toys R Us stores are preparing to begin liquidating soon.

The last day for redeeming gift cards was announced as 4/15.

Possibly this may also be the last day to return items.

Act fast since little good merchandise will available once the discounts begin.

We'll miss our local TRU stores.

A couple weeks ago I informed my wife that she better use our $50 babies r us gift card we got for Christmas since I had a hunch they'd be going out of business soon. A couple days later they made the official announcement. Our online order was delivered a few days ago. RIP Toys/Babies R Us.

Anyone remember KB Toys? A new owner who bought the rights to their name a while back was eyeing a comeback for internet sales, but is now considering getting back into brick and mortar stores as well now that Toys R Us is closing down.

With Toys 'R' Us shutting down, KB Toys hopes the time is right to make a return

Pop up toy stores, like the pop up Halloween stores, will be the future of toy stores. There's no good reason to sell that junk year around, when a lot of people will get their kids tablets on their birthdays

Wonder if they will accept Sweet Tomatoes gift cards?

Really, somewhat surprised they lasted this long.
