I live in Cary and need several large shrubs trimmed in my front yard.
Any suggestions?

Yes I have hedge trimmers and a chain saw but don't want to take on this job myself. Several of the bushes are hollies.

Hire a landscaper? Not sure what kind of answer you're looking for here

They do make "pruners on a stick" - it's basically a long pole with a little chainsaw on the end of it.

Sorry I wasn't very clear I'm looking for recommendations for someone in the Cary/Raleigh area that would trim shrubs.

For a one-time job, that is where you might start.

Or, when your neighborhood has lawncare guys on the street, approach one of them for the job.

I wouldn't hire anyone off Craigslist for anything that involves blades and ladders.

Just hire any insured landscaper. They'll charge you an arm and a leg, but that's how it goes if you don't want to do it yourself
