There are two neighborhoods of townhomes basically right at the temple. One on the same side of Chapel Hill Rd and one across from it. Not sure if any are being rented though.

There are some new houses and townhomes directly adjacent. Not sure if those would suit you since you wanted a ranch home, but they are VERY close. You can see it from some of them.

Cool..will check them out on our next visit...not so much into townhomes because we fear for the safety of an active toddler with stairs..but the neighborhoods may have some single family homes too...thanks for the suggestions...

Toddlers do fine with stairs. Gotta trust me.

I will say, needing a ranch plan is going to really hurt you unless you’re willing to go with much older housing stock more towards Cary.

Seriously....your kid has to learn how to go up and down stairs at some point. Millions of kids have been raised in homes with stairs....yours can do it too.
