Can anybody who has had a slice of NY pizza (IN NY) or Chi. Anybody been to Philly that has had a cheesesteak?? Does any place in Omaha that claim to be authentic even come close??

They are tastey indeed. However, the steak that they use is already shredded up, processed and shipped to the stores for cooking. I do know that in Philly, the steak is actually sliced on a meat-slicer from an entire rump of ribeye or sirloin depending on what they use.

Buffalo Company has great pizza and subs - they ship the bread from Costanzo's bakery in Buffalo, NY. I think they would do a variation of the cheese-steak sub -

I will second that. His stuffed pizza is the closest thing to Giordano's you'll find in Omaha.

One more to add is Mama's Pizza, I see now they have 2 locations.

I'd say it's more Chicago style, then NY. Someone else will have to say if it's still good, I moved away from Omaha many years ago.

Mama's is good. I guess it's a Chicago Style Thin. It's pretty good stuff.
