Do you think it will be managed properly or an overflown unanticipated event? Could it be like the balloon fest in Fuquay that people paid parking and could never get to the park?
good news:
1. it is sold out. the promoters earned their money.
2. the weather looks good so far.
3. the entertainment is current.
the bad news:
1. Raleigh parks is not ready for this.
2. the mud still remains. this wet weather will not quit.
3. the crowds will not disperse for hours (days) afterwards.
It will be a mess. Traffic was bad early Saturday. I'm glad I'm not going. May be the 1st AND last festival of its type at Dorthea Dix property.
