While I was not willing to pay the price to see him, I certainly think it must have been a great show. Would love to hear the comments or reviews from those who attended.

Also curious if there were easy/cheap tickets to be found on site?

Not my favorite Beatle, but I was impressed with the show. 38 songs, almost 3 hours with no break (other than for encore). Nice interaction with the audience. It looked like he was having a good time.

The N&O has a nice write-up, though you may need an account to see it all.

Thanks, that was a great write-up. Kinda sad I missed it now.

Heck, that encore set alone was probably worth the price of admission.

My wife enjoyed it. McCartney's voice was a little ragged like the newspaper says, but no one seemed to care.

I saw Paul McCartney 17 years ago (didn't realize it had been that long) when he was in Raleigh. Loved seeing him again! His voice was a bit ragged but after all, he is 76 years old! He looked great!!! The show was great! Love that drummer!!!

I learned NOT to get floor seats at PNC! Hard to see over all that stood; whereas the stadium seats give you a bit more of a view. Better than the seats we had 17 years ago when we were at the top of the PNC Arena!

As for his voice, this was only the 2nd show of this tour. The first was Thursday last week in New Orleans. Next is Thursday this week in Greenville, SC. Thirteen more shows after that, ending July 13 in LA. Wonder what his voice will sound like by then.

Kinda wish I had gone, but I don't really like crowded stadium shows. I saw Ringo is coming in the fall.

better show - Elton John or Paul McCartney?

I didn't go to either, but thought seriously about Elton John

I've never seen Paul McCartney, mainly because I never have liked
anything Beetles related. Elton John on the other hand is a true
showman and he rocks the house like no other. I told my daughter
who was born in the 90s she needs to start seeing some of these
people because they won't be here forever. I'm going to see
Iron Maiden again in July and I can't wait, they are awesome!
