I saw a dude on a scooter traveling the beltline the other day. This was not one of those fast scooters...it was of the 50cc varity and probably couldn't do much over 35. I thought someone was going to kill this guy. What an idiot for taking that thing out on the interstate.

No, I don't use FOTN. Unfortunately I do work in N. Raleigh, but not near FOTN.

Most "cagers" are respectful, it's the timid drivers we have to watch out for.

I've been riding for 6 years. Haven't been hit yet. Laid a scooter (motorbike) down once in Thailand to avoid a rockslide. Escaped with no injuries and only minor damage to the bike. Don't be such a "hater" In most countries, scooters are very common (even outnumber cars in some places). Here, we assume people ride them cause they lost their license.

Someone mentioned a person driving a scoot on the beltline. Aside from that being totally stupid, I think it's illegal.

This is straight out of Karl Marx. History has shown this to be a terrible way to handle things.

Besides, you aren't going to get the oil cartels to agree to rationing for the world. The price per barrel is set globally.
