This may not interest you, but my neighbor owns Produce Connection. She services all of Raleigh with locally grown produce delivery once a week for $25/week. It's great because you don't have to spend the gas and you get a nice variety, perfect for a small family. I can give you more info, if you like!
BTW, do you have an agent yet? (I wouldn't be a very good agent if I didn't ask, and my family enjoys my paying the bills!) Either way, let me know if there's any other informaion you need about the area.
Also of note, the groceries will label foods that are sourced locally. I know that Whole Foods, Lowes Foods, EarthFare, and Harris Teeter are a few that label that come to mind. These selections are limited.
You can also check out Papa Spud's Organics for produce delivery.
