I would try posting that in the General NC forum. Lake Gaston is located all the way up on the VA / NC boarder and not in the Triangle area.

Do a web search lots of listings. Average lot less then an acre on the water around 400 grand. Sold my lot two years ago held it for 18 years paid 35 g for two acres waterfront on a great cove in bracey va. made out like a bandit ,Great lake just to much money to pass up and it has gotten to crowded on the water.
