Need some info from you folks. I'm in the market for 2 well made recliners that have lumbar support that's not gonna flatten out in a year or two. Anyone have any recommendations? I read some of the other posts, but didn't really come away with a solid direction. Also, I'm not rich, so are there any well-made recliners like decribed above that reasonablly priced around the Raleigh/Garner area? I've had some good no-name recliners in the past, but the back support usually goes bye-bye. Thanks.

Have you looked at the Lazy Boy store On Glenwood Ave? I went there recently with my mom to look at some stuff and was pleasantly suprised with their selection of furniture and recliners. I don't know about the lumbar support, but I did think their stuff seemed well made, nice looking compared to the ugly lazy boy recliners of the 80's and was VERY comfortable.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I'll look over La-Z-Boy and see what they have. They used to have a store down US401, but I guess they moved.

Being this far down the list I didn't think anyone would see the post.

I'll second the La Z Boy store. There are a few of them around now: Glenwood Avenue and Falls of the Neuse Road.

Hubby bought a recliner there YEARS AGO and unfortunately, it won't fall apart as I want to replace it! It is blue and I changed colors in that room!

We bought a recliner from La-Z Boy out on Glenwood Ave. a few months ago...I believe it is the "Forte" or maybe the "Baylee" Anyway, the price was right around $500. We fight over it constantly....I guess we should go buy another one
