We've had good experiences with them so far - although our son is only 12 weeks old and hasn't gotten sick yet, so we've only been there a few times. But we see Dr Wilson and he's been great - we've heard from several other people that really like him as well.

The attending doctor there was fine and handled well.

Their front office was a mess.. couldn't get insurance stuff handled well and made me make all the calls for Insurance company in front of them. It was a major insurance company and many folks around here have it. You would assume they would be well skilled and equiped to handled it for such an office.
Also getting an appointment is another story.

For the above 2 reasons, I didn't visit them back as I found other new pediatrician around where I could get in and out easily and get great personal service. There is one near Davis and Carpenter-Morrisville and he is very good. There is also a newly opened pediatric express near Harristeeter in Morrisville. Not been there ..but heard they cover for urgent needs.
I really dont have much of time and patience to deal with doctors office folks and other junk when my kids are in need of doctor and my attention.

We've been going to Cornerstone for 8 years and while I have a good experience w/the doctors , I don't care for the office staff. So much so that I'm switching practices. Also, I think the practice has gotten too big. My children are now at a one doctor practice.

I've had some similar issues at my doctor's office but really like the medical care. For this reason, I ran the administrative issues by the doctor privately one visit, and a lot of good changes were soon made.

Might try that if the practice is good except for the office staff.

I took my 2.5-year-old there for a year before I finally switched to Dr. Ramsdell in Apex. They actually charged me a fee for needing to reschedule an appointment once, because I didn't give them 24-hours notice. I had a 1-year-old, stuff happens. I didn't like being *charged* for that. We were seeing Dr. Mary Wedegaertner and she was fine, but I like our new ped better.

Love, Love, Love Dr. Ramsdell at Ramsdell Pediatrics!!!!!!! She talks directly to & involves the kids directly. She also will spread out immunizations if needed and the nurse & office staff are great!!!

Default Great experiences

They've always been very caring and supportive with my three kids, especially when I had screaming new born twins and a 2 year old. Oh, those were the days! They would work to help me and double up so that we could be as quick as possible. They have an onstaff lactation specialist and she was wooonnnderful. I've been through almost all the doctors and the PA in the nine years we've been going, and they're all great. Never had a problem with the staff either. They've watched my kids grow up and they're very personal. Oh - and we did spread out the vaccines and it was no problem either.

We had a very so-so experience at Cornerstone and I would hesitate to recommend it. We were there for 2 years with 2 toddler/preschoolers. Our last visit was my son's 3 year check up w/ one of the better MD's and I felt very rushed (was told that he was waiting for someone to fix the AC and would have to leave as soon as that call came in). The nurses were okay and the front desk staff was unpredictable. We left Cary but if we moved back I would look for another practice.

Love Cornerstone. It is a large practice with many doctors, but I have never had to wait to get a sick child in for a appointment. Dr. Wilson and Rutledge are great.
