My roommate wants very badly to have Batman shower curtain, and I was hoping to get him one for Christmas. The problem is that it doesn't appear that the product exists. So I hoping someone knew of a fabic place in the Raleigh area that fulfill this request for me.

Potterbarn Kids had Batman sheets this past summer. They may also have coordinating shower curtains. The print was kind of old style Batman. If they don't have the shower curtain a Full sized Flat Sheet makes a very nice curtain.... and they did carry those.
The ones I've found are all expensive and all from Canada. I would like to do business with someone local if I can help it.
Holy heart attack, Batman! $69.99 for a shower curtain? Pretty sure I could make one of those for less than that. But no, you don't want to hire me... I'd never get it done before Christmas.
Have you tried a Craigslist search for a seamtress or sewing services? If you want one like that ebay design, it would be fairly easy to blow up the image, cut it out of fabric and then sew it on a shower curtain. Isn't there some sort of textile design school as NCSU.... this sounds right up the Bat Alley of a young, penniless college student.

I'd suggest you go to a store that carries fabric, for sewing. Maybe a JoAnn's. You should be able to find something that has Batman on it. All you have to do is to measure a shower curtain so you'll know what size to make it. Put a hem in the top, for the shower rod and a small hem around the 3 other edges and voila! You have a custom made shower curtain!
And THIS from someone who knows how to sew but simply doesn't!!!
