Do any of the hotels/restaurants in the Raleigh area have New Year's Eve parties? I have been to parties that you pay per person and they have a dj and dinner and you can reserve tables. Do they have that here???

Thanks

The Umstead is offering a special package:

Quote:
On New Years Eve, couples can bid farewell to 2008 with a romantic evening at The Umstead. Herons will host a champagne reception prior to dinner where an eight-course tasting menu will be served for one seating at 7:30 p.m., accompanied with live jazz music. Guests will then be escorted to the lounge with a glass of champagne for the official countdown to New Years. Dinner is available at $125 per person. Overnight guests can take advantage of a special overnight rate of $215, which includes a bottle of bubbly, commemorative champagne flutes and late check out to 3 p.m.

The Hurricanes always have a NYE game and then a party after wards. I've never been but I'm sure someone on here can give us the details.
