IMHO, it seems like anytime something needs to be cut within the WCPSS they pick on the Wake Forest Rolesville High School renovations project. They built the all 'New" Heritage High School, they will build the 'NEW' H6 High School in Rolseville. They will build a 'NEW' elementary school off Capital Blvd & Harris Road, they built the 'New' Forest Pines Elementary School in Wakefield. But for some reason WF-R High School always seems to be on the opposite end of all that 'New' spending.

The plan was for the kids at WF-R to move to the 'New' Heritage High School next year while the renovation was going on. If they miss this window the 'New' Heritage High School will be filled through normal reassignments and reassignments and reassignments that WCPSS does. Wait I forgot to add the redesigned reassignment plan. Once filled where will they move the WF-R kids while the renovations will be going on?

I hope renovation isn't postponed ! The school is literally FALLING APART PIECE BY PIECE.
It's a great school.. but this school is in dire need of renovation !!! The inside is like a step back in time... seriously the interior could be used as a dropback for movie set in the 1950's....

The latest information I have been told is renovation is on hold due to shortage of money due to lack of interest in Bonds. Hopefully they can solve this and renovate the school by the start of the next decade. They were going to divert the money from the new elementary school they plan to build on Capital Blvd and Harris Road but that will not happen now. Plan is to build the Elementary school being they purchased the land....
