My brother-in-law is going to be in town for the first week of April. He's currently stationed in Okinawa but his tour is done in June and he and my sister-in-law and 2 kids are looking to relocate to the triangle area. They know nothing about the triangle except that my wife and I are here and love it. They are not enamored of Durham (not really their bag) but are looking to be close-ish to us. We're in Grandale in south Durham.

They've narrowed down their search to Apex for its proximity to us and decent schools. But he'll need a realtor that is willing to work for that week showing him stuff around the area. As I understand it, schools are most important, proximity to us is good, and commute time to his as yet unsecured job is probably an important factor.

He's a child psychiatrist and she's a child psychologist, so aside from having bat**** crazy kids, they'll be ok buying a house/getting a loan, etc. Please DM me recommendations for good realtors. We want knowledge so his time isn't wasted and also a good negotiator so they can capitalize on their good timing for buying a house. TIA.

If this is true, please keep them away from my neighborhood!

Does either your brother or his spouse have employment lined up in the area?

There's no shortage of crazy people here, so they should have no trouble lining up jobs.

I imagine that child psychiatrists (and psychologists) create their own employment.

edit: I type too slow!

Yeah. He'll be fine. He has an interview at a practice in Cary but with only 300 child psychiatrists in the entire state, he won't have a problem. And we psychologists (my wife and I are both psychologists, as well) don't have employment problems.

there are two realtors who post to this forum regularly, one is a photographer -- I haven't met either but am impressed by their knowledge of the area and concern to fit right people to right house.
