Remember that the Durham Bulls have $1 concessions on Thursday nights. Their stadium is really clean and just about every seat is a great seat. This may be the best kept secret in Durham.
For parents, check out the calendar on Carolinaparent.com for great family friendly activties.
I know the Eno was mentioned, but I wanted to specifically mention the Festival for the Eno 30th annual Festival for the Eno.
And Hillsborough's Hog Day! http://www.hogdays.com/ These have always been my favorite since I grew up going to them after we moved to NC in '87.
