Looking for any neighborhoods in the general area around Holly Springs Rd, 1010 Rd, West Lake Rd, Optimist Farm Rd that sell memberships to their neighborhood pools to nonresidents. Anyone know of any? If so, contact info would be greatly appreciated if you have it.

Thanks!

I am interested in this info as well. I asked this same question last summer and got a few responses, but the neighborhoods were either a little too far away, or the price was a little steeper than I was willing to spend.

Any subdivisions that sell pool memberships to non-residents?

I just signed my son up for swimming lessons at Lake Johnson's pool, but that's a 20 minute drive for us. I also have a free 5-day pass to Club Worx in F-V that I plan to use.

I know that Sunset Ridge, Lochmere, Eagle Ridge, Dutchman Downs, Crooked Creek, and Bentwinds and a few others are part of the Tarheel Swimming association.

Tarheel Swimming Association

There are other neighborhoods like Sunset Oaks, Whitehart, the subdivision across the street from Whitehart, Brighton Forest, Jamison Park, The Park at Westlake, and a few others have neighborhood pools, but I'm not sure they offer memberships to non-residents.

I this isn't super close to you but I thought I would put it out there: I am a member of Cary Swim Club in central Cary and it are NOT a "neighborhood" pool, it's a private swim club with memberhips open to anyone in the community. We usually have a waiting list, but we do have spots available now. The club has been around for 45 year and we are also on the TSA.
Anyway, I thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone else in the area is looking in Cary too!

It beats the $1000 fee to join our neighborhood pools and the $750 yearly fee here in Sunset Ridge. I do like how the pools are not a part of the HOA fees, but boy is it expensive if you want to join. We have a little one on the way and definitely will need to join a pool in the next year or two.

If the YMCA off Holly Springs had an indoor pool and hot tub, I think it would be worth it. At least they have a gym! Which is why we will probably join in the fall.

Cary Swim Club way cheaper than that! $435 annual membership dues and a one time fee of $200.00, but we're currently waiving 1/2 of that.
