We currently live outside the CLT area in Lincoln County. Job market here is bad.
Considering a move to the RDU area, but first wanted to check out the area for a few days before getting serious.
For those who know, is the job market in RDU better than CLT? We are in healthcare administration and HVAC industries. From various searches it looks like the RDU area has more jobs.
Also, from various searches, it seems like housing in the RDU area is much more expensive than CLT. Am I right, and if so, about how much more expensive?
I would say since you're not that far from the triangle, go ahead and apply for jobs here. You can make the drive for interviews, and then plan to move if you get an offer.
