There are still a couple of drive-in movie theaters up here in MA. Are there any left in the Triangle area? I am hoping there are especially as the weather is nicer down there so the season could be longer.

There is only one that know about it. It's the Star-lite in Durham.

However, I went and looked at the website, and it seems the owner has died and the drive-in is closed until further notice.

There was the Starlite Drive-in in Durham. A few years ago there was a fire and they rebuilt it and came back. It seems to have recently closed due to the death of the owner though.

That's sad that the owner died. It's too bad that there aren't any drive-ins though as they are a fun summer activity.

OH.....thanks for the link! The movies could be fun, but it shows that Allen Toussaint will be playing there this summer! I hear his music on Radio Margaritaville (on Sirius) and would love the hear him live!

My daughter should be home from summer camp by then...so it's perfect! Thanks again, as I don't know that I have caught that!
