Apparently Gresham Antique Mall (6917 Capital Blvd) is closing after 16 years on Halloween and there will be a big sale until then.

Not long ago, I recommended the mall to someone looking for antique postcards.

It's probably a victim of the recession.

Sad.

This ad was on Craigslist in the Antiques section yesterday:

The current Gresham Lake Antique Mall will close Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at 5:30 pm.

Antiques at Gresham Lake will open on Sunday , Nov. 1, 2009 at 1 pm at the same location, . More updates will follow when available.

I doubt it. Most likely the recession pushed it along faster but almost all businesses I've seen fail are due to either poor management, high prices, poor customer service or a combination of all.
