Does anyone know of a swim club much like the YMCA that does not use chlorine in their pool? I have been hearing about the harmful effect of chlorine, but was hoping that my kids would not suffer any ill effects before getting through competitive level and then pull them out, but that luxury may not exist anymore.

Recently, both kids started coughing uncontrollably especially at nights. Long story short - The doctor said there lungs were clear but could not pin down the reason for the coughing and said one of the kids may have a slight allergy.

After doing a search in the "PATH Wellness Manual" by Dr. Eric Braverman, I realized the common denominator was the chlorine the girls have been swimming in, as it clearly stated all the harmful effects including allergies and worsening of coughing, in addition to asthma. I must now make the decision of discontinuing their swimming activities or find a non-hazardous option. The choice for me is easy, buy I would much rather to find an alternative than breaking their hearts
