Wow, that place is almost walking distance from me, and when I saw your post about "Wine tasting at BP" I almost made a joke about it (assuming "BP" did not, in fact, mean a gas station). HA! No wonder their gas prices are among the highest around! They have to pay a sommelier!
Just a reminder ..there is a wine tasting tomorrow night 6-8:00
this has become one of my most favorite "stops"...great variety of wine, reasonable prices and Taylor (owner) and the staff are just the nicest people. I'm going to try and make my first tasting. Hope to see you there
There is another free wine tasting scheduled for this Thursday (7/22) starting at 6pm. If you think you might go let me know. I'm thinking I am going to make this one!
I ate a lot of meals out of that store almost 40 years ago during my surveyor days. I wonder if you can still get the country ham and egg biscuit to nibble on while tasting all those wines
Where else but in NC would you find a wine tasting located in a gas station?!!
Someone figured out that wine and live bait were natural companions.
I once lived not too far from it -- it was kind of interesting until you have to actually go in there to get normal convenience store items while the wine sipping fiasco is in session
