Thanks to all who read this and take the time to reply. We are a couple in NE TN looking for a place to retire. For reasons I won't go into (specific to OUR needs), the Raleigh area is high on our list. My wife has a health issue that conventional doctors have not been able to help with at all. She is doing best with alternative treatments and strict diet control. Having close access to health food stores and alternative health care practitioners is high on our list of factors in choosing a place to live. Any thoughts on this in relation to the Raleigh area? Thanks again folks.
I'd say getting as close as you can to Chapel Hill is your best bet to have a wide variety of alternative health care and health food resources/stores.
