What part of the resolution describes how they plan to address the parents who will still be upset when their children are reassigned because their neighborhood school is at 200% capacity?

Maybe that will be in the next resolution?
BRILLIANT! Love it!

I totally agree about Tedesco. He campaigned in my neighborhood, sat on my front porch and had a conversation with me and my husband regarding the state of our schools. When he was talking I didn't get the feel that I was having an actual conversation with someone, it was scripted and seemed calculated. Now, I see him EVERY time there's news regarding the school board, which is a little too often. He lives in Garner and busing is the main issue with Garner schools. Our schools are not representative of our town and have more than the suggested number of kids on free and reduced lunch. I get his motivation, specifically being from Garner, but something definitely rubs me the wrong way.

In regard to Tedesco, I believe he has been dishonest in his presentation of himself, including but not limited to his experiences and qualifications. Also, as I've mentioned before, I believe he is a ticking time bomb.

He isn't the first and won't be the last POLITICIAN that changes his views based on who he is talking to! I have never met the man in person but from day 1, I haven't liked what I have seen on TV!

Raleighlass...I was being a bit sarcastic on the "3 year assignment plan".

So many people were so excited when it came out. I always wondered if it would be possible to keep that plan for THREE YEARS! Now I wonder what the new board will do with it. As I have said in the past...we never had a 3 year plan and I wonder what happens after year 2, when it is decided that it isn't working. I'm not sure we'll even make it to year 2 now!

Yep, I picked up the sarcasm, I also meant the same. basically they weren't telling us much of anything, just a framework for the framework...i guess it has to start somewhere? But with Mr T seeming to have all the answers I figured that by now he and his backers (Taxpayer Assoc, John Pope Fdnt, et al) would have had the plan all worked out to a "t"
