Found a tick on my dog yesterday. I am sure he picked it up in the tall grass where he goes to the bathroom. Ready to treat with Frontline today, as much as I hate to use chemicals at all, but I have small children and I feel I should do what's necessary to prevent bringing ticks into the house. Feeling VERY creepy crawly right now - ugh!!!!

No ticks yet, but I just got my first chigger bite today. Well, I got it yesterday, but it showed up today. From now on it's long pants tucked into my socks and sprayed with bug spray. But only until the first freeze.

was out walking at Falls Lake yesterday - 23 ticks (soooooo wish I was exaggerating) for my dog and 4 on me. I haven't stopped feeling crawly. Must've come pretty close to a nest or something......

Found another one on my dog last night so tonight, hubby gave her a bath and I picked up some Frontline at the vet today.

This is the first time she has ever had a tick and she is about 8 years old.
