I'm curious as well...my son starts Kindergarten there this August but I live in Apex....I'm planning on volunteering as much as I can--need to find something for my 19m old twins to do a few days a week so I can volunteer. Is your child starting Kindergarten there as well? I'd love to meet other Washington moms in the area!
Fun! We'll be at orientation in June as well! We live off of West Lake Rd. My son Conor is trying to get the hang of the bike, bless him, he's having trouble with the pedals but he'll get the hang this summer. We're going to practice a lot once school is out...the fresh air is great for the little ones, makes them sleep...yea! That is one thing I was a little worried about--him being able to make friends in his class and how far away they lived, etc since we are in Apex and so many of the kids are from all over Raleigh. We moved here last year from Northern VA and rented a house downtown while our home in VA was on the market, so he is at St. Raphael's and once we bought a home here, I didn't realize just how far away that was until I had to drive it every day...it's a haul! Plus, all his friends live in N. Raleigh or Wake Forest...eek....so, play dates have been few and far between since we live so far out. I'm looking forward to meeting you and maybe we can get the Apex/Cary kids together during the summer? That might be a fun thing to do!
