Ours has a spot but some agents just don't bother to fill it in, I'd guess about 33% of the listings leave it off. Lazy agents IMO.

Well I don't even bother wasting my time emailing, waiting for a response I just move on..yesterday I found some condos I really liked, St Andrews in Myrtle Beach, just what we were looking for as they had garage not one dam listing or the condo assoc website listed the HOA fees..I've already moved on

and when I make my choice 100% of where I want to land I will stipulate in writing if my agent can not provide these details for me..before calling or emailing me to go look....time to find a new agent

I list the HOA fee, but it is absolutely silly IMO to ignore listings where the HOA amount isn't listed.

Some HOA's control/include water, sewer, garbage, parks, open space, road and sidewalk maintenance, swimming pools, club house, tennis courts, and even homeowners insurance.

Some HOA's strictly meet to deal with violations, bylaws and have next to no fees.

Just looking at the number doesn't make sense especially since it is quite often that the HOA can supply things like water, sewer, garbage and insurance, at a lower rate than you would get as an individual. (so whether the amount is listed or not you should be calling)
