Good points! I'm working off a bad experience several years ago, when I considered selling a property FSBO and nearly accepted an offer that was about $40,000 too low. I have to humbly acknowledge that I may not be the best at negotiating.

In that case, especially if you are not sure about present market value, working with an agent would be warranted--but NOT after a deal has been struck. If you're going to work with an agent, allow them to market it fully for best results.
