I would agree with you here. And yes the person just may be OOT...everyone desire a vacation but please leave a voicemail prompt thank you.

Now the "no answer is an answer" would labeled "rude" and "very unprofessional" without leaving a message and why they would not want to counter the offer.

Here in PA we have a paragraph in the contract and a blank space to insert the time period the seller has to respond to the offer. As mention, sometimes the seller is on vacation or away for some reason and can not respond in that time period. In that case, it is the seller's agent's responsibility to inform the buyer's agent and renegotiate the time period.

The " no answer is the answer" is rude and unprofessional on the seller's agent's part.
If the seller is not going to respond, the seller's agent needs to tell the buyer's agent.

If you're waiting for the inspections and warranties you are asking for, keep in mind that it
takes time for inspectors to do inspections.

In any case, the seller's agent should know what is going on. If the seller's agent is on vacation or away - someone should be handling her/his business while she is "out of the office".
