Talk about a cheap date! It is kind of like taking a trip though, I do it a lot. I also like to see the different styles and mostly the prices. I found my house this way from another state.

These websites have steered me right into developments or subdivisions that I was really interested in. Usually, they are set up as MLS sites, so one accesses many listings, and many realtors. This way, you are previewing many properties and not necessarily those of one realtor who has made a big investment in his/her website and wants to "stay in touch" with you.

Dang, I just looked at this one, Houston Association of Realtors, and the set-up was a little more user-friendly about 3 months ago. The toggling area was in a more user-friendly box to the left. They claim to be one of the more active metro-wide MLS sites in the US. Talk about a metro area that's a veritable candy store of real estate values, especially for those who live, or have lived, where your dollar doesn't go very far.
